Working in partnership with our loyal Clare growers, this wine is a blend of two vineyards and is made using large format oak. It is a deep dark, red with cherry, vanilla and spice aromas. Flavoursome with soft tannins and great length. Beautifully weighted and scrumptious.

Edward B Gleeson arrived in South Australia with his family from India. Flushed with his winnings from a wager on the Calcutta (now known as Kolkata) Cup. It was 1838. Amongst his entourage was a monkey, a thoroughbred stallion and a peacock. This set the tone for what would be a colourful, eccentric, entrepreneurial, character filled life in the Clare Valley. The exploits of Gleeson & Co provide the inspiration for this range of wines and encourage them to tell their own story.
