Kirrihill Wines Photo Competition — Terms and Conditions

  1. Promoter
    The promoter is Kirrihill Wines Pty Limited trading as Kirrihill Wines, ABN 91 081 787 500, of 948 Farrell Flat Road, HILL RIVER, Clare South Australia, 5453. Competition enquiries can be directed to cellar@kirrihill.com.au.
  2. Eligibility
    Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over, excluding Northern Territory residents. Directors, employees and agents of the Promoter, anyone involved in conducting or promoting the competition, and their immediate families are ineligible.
  3. Competition period
    The competition opens at 08:00am on 24 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm Australian Central Daylight Time (Adelaide time) on 31 December 2026. Entries received outside this period are ineligible.
  4. How to enter
    During the competition period:
  • Purchase Kirrihill wine directly from https://kirrihill.com.au/
  • Take an original photograph featuring the Kirrihill wine from your order.
  • Publish the photograph as an Instagram feed post and tag @kirrihillwines

Your Instagram account must be public, and the post must remain accessible until the winner has been verified. Instagram Stories alone do not qualify.

There is no additional entry fee. Normal purchase and internet access costs apply. Entrants must retain their order confirmation as proof of purchase.

  1. Entry limit
    A maximum of one entry per person is permitted. Additional posts, purchases or Instagram accounts do not provide additional entries.
  2. Photograph requirements
    Entrants must own the photograph and have permission from any identifiable person featured in it. Photographs must not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful or offensive material.

Photographs must not feature anyone under 18, portray excessive or irresponsible drinking, or show alcohol consumption during driving or other unsafe activities. Drinking wine is not required to enter.

The Promoter may exclude entries that breach these requirements.

The total prize retail value is AUD $380, including GST. Delivery to the winner’s eligible Australian address is included.

The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any necessary substitution will comply with applicable law and be of equal or greater value.

  1. Winner selection
    This is a game of chance. The winner will be selected randomly from all valid entries at 10:00 am Adelaide time on 8 January 2027.

Every valid entry has an equal chance of winning. Photographic quality does not affect the outcome. Entrants do not need to attend the draw.

  1. Notification and publication
    The winner will be notified in writing by Instagram direct message within two business days of the draw.

The winner’s surname, first initial and state or territory will be published at [competition results webpage] on 11 January 2027 and remain available for at least 28 days.

The winner must provide proof of age, Australian residency, eligible purchase and delivery details before receiving the prize.

  1. Prize delivery
    The Promoter will arrange delivery within 28 days of the draw, subject to eligibility verification and lawful alcohol delivery requirements. The prize must be received by a person aged 18 or over and cannot be delivered where its supply would be unlawful.
  2. Unclaimed prize
    The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. The prize must be claimed by 5:00 pm Adelaide time on 8 April 2027.

If the prize remains unclaimed, an unclaimed-prize draw will take place at 10:00 am Adelaide time on 9 April 2027 at the original draw address, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.

The replacement winner will be notified within two business days. Their surname, first initial and state or territory will be published on the competition results webpage on 12 April 2027 for at least 28 days.

  1. Use of photographs
    Entrants retain ownership of their photographs. Entering and tagging @kirrihillwines automatically grants permission for the Promoter to use a photograph organically on their social media feeds.
  2. Privacy
    The Promoter will use personal information to administer the competition, verify eligibility, contact the winner, publish the required results and deliver the prize, in accordance with its privacy policy at https://kirrihill.com.au/policies/privacy-policy

Entry does not automatically subscribe an entrant to marketing communications.

  1. Instagram disclaimer
    This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Instagram from liability arising from participation in this competition.
  2. General
    The Promoter may disqualify fraudulent entries or entries that breach these terms. Any changes, cancellation or prize substitution will comply with applicable law and any required regulatory approval.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
