This Cabernet Malbec blend is crafted from our Schobers Vineyards nestled in the southern part of Clare Valley. The Leasingham basin is a special site where many exceptional wines were produced including the Jimmy Watson winning 1994 Leasingham Classic Clare. The Cabernet vines are 55 years old and the Malbec 20 years old. 

The 2021 cabernet parcels were harvested mid to late March after a long, cool and brilliant ripening season. The warm temperatures during the day and cool nights allowed for the Cabernet to develop delicate and ripe aromas. The malbec block was harvested early April to ensure optimum ripeness.
