2022 Gleeson & Co. Grenache

"Sweetly fruited and fragrant, this Grenache shows dark plum, raspberry, warm spice and assorted nut aromas on the nose, followed by a silky-smooth palate that's fleshy and succulent. Soothing and delicious, offering excellent drinking. At its best: now to 2034."

Crimson purple in colour with a nose of strawberries, mulberries and raspberries. Fragrant, spicy and exuberant with extremely attractive aromatics. A savoury style with fine tannins and decent length.

Pairs with: Roast duck, lamb shoulder, mushroom risotto, aged manchego

2018 Gleeson & Co. Shiraz

A blend of two Clare Valley vineyards, matured in large format oak. Deep, dark red with cherry, vanilla and spice aromas. Flavoursome with soft tannins and great length. Beautifully weighted and drinking perfectly now.

Pairs with: Beef brisket, BBQ ribs, char-grilled steaks, mature cheddar

The Gleeson Story

Edward B. Gleeson arrived in South Australia from India in 1838, flushed with winnings from a wager on the Calcutta Cup. His entourage included a monkey, a thoroughbred stallion, and a peacock - setting the tone for a colourful, entrepreneurial life in Clare Valley. This wine range celebrates his adventurous spirit.
